When faculty or students do not feel safe in public among people during the pandemic, this tool can be deployed by Universities’ IT departments easily as a COVID response for teaching classes outside the walls of the classroom. Recently, SUNY Geneseo was tasked to renovate an existing classroom with equipment for web based video conferencing in the Summer of 2017. Specifically there would be Foreign Language classes shared between Brockport, MCC and Geneseo (as part of the Critical Language Consortium).
